Behind the Barrel Tour

This new tour offering for 2025 is one you won't want to miss! The Behind the Barrel Tour is an exploration of the evolution of wine, from the barrel to the glass. On this tour, you will get to experience wine tastings at three award-winning wineries in and around Palisade, Colorado. One of the wine tastings will feature a barrel tasting curated by a celebrated winemaker. During the barrel tasting, you will have the opportunity to talk with the winemaker about their winery and the winemaking process, taste samples straight from the wine barrel, and also delight in the finished wine. This is a rare opportunity to learn from and connect with the person who makes the magic happen! We have a maximum group size of six in order to provide the most intimate and educational experience possible.

The Behind the Barrel Tour includes transportation to/from your Grand Junction or Fruita location, exclusive wine tasting at two wineries, and a curated barrel tasting at one winery. You will have the unique opportunity to learn about winemaking directly from the winemaker, sample wine during the aging process, and enjoy award-winning wines, in the gorgeous Palisade area.
